When can I train?
Training begins June 15, 2027. Choose dates in the calendar and submit your request. We review your experience and dates before payment and final confirmation.
What does $699/hour include?
Prepaid 5-, 10-, 25-, and 50-hour blocks include the R66, fuel, and flight instructor. Ground instruction is $100/hour and is agreed separately. Pay-as-you-go flying is $875/hour. Applicable taxes and any agreed exceptional airport charges are additional.
What happens after I request dates?
Follow your request in your student portal. We review your experience, training goals, and dates. Approval reserves your dates; final confirmation follows the signed agreement and payment or accepted financing arrangement. A request alone does not hold dates.
Can I finance my training?
Financing is available for qualified applicants at 9.99% APR, subject to approval and final disclosures. Use the calculator to explore payment estimates. The booking form does not run a credit check or approve a loan.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your lesson without penalty. Later cancellations or no-shows may carry a $100 fee per affected training day. Weather, aircraft downtime, or instructor cancellations carry no flight penalty. See the complete booking policy.
What happens to unused block hours?
Reschedule or request a refund at your purchased hourly rate, less disclosed cancellation fees. Completed hours are not repriced at the walk-in rate. Financed refunds are applied as required by your financing agreement.
Do I need a helicopter rating?
Transition and recurrent courses are for rated helicopter pilots. New pilots and fixed-wing pilots can request an individual training review so we can discuss a suitable route.
Can I rent the helicopter alone?
No. All flying is dual instruction. No unsupervised rentals are offered.
Does a block guarantee a rating or a job?
No. Training depends on proficiency, and logbook entries reflect your actual training and qualifications. No employment, rating, endorsement, or insurer acceptance is guaranteed.
Is OKC Turbine a Robinson factory school?
No. We are an independent training business and do not claim Robinson factory-school or dealer affiliation.
Where is the training base?
Wiley Post Airport (KPWA) in Oklahoma City. We provide the meeting point and arrival instructions with your confirmed training details.
Where can I check my request?
Your student portal shows your saved application and current review status. Check it after submitting and before arranging travel.
